GUI access during simulation ADEXL

Hi,

The general question: if it is possible to somehow interact with the Cadence Virtuoso interface during simulation process in ADEXL?

More detail description of my problem:

I have small program that implemented as DockWindow in the schematic view. Here, from the button I would like to run the function that starts several simulations in the row, implemented as ocean scripts. They run in a cyclic function (SKILL), the amount of starts is not known from the beginning and depends on the result of previous run. Respectively, sometimes I want to interrupt and cancel this process, but usually interface is freezed during calculation, as well as it busy between simulations starts, because they are still inside of working function in SKILL script.

Is there any trick or workaround about this difficulty?

Not sure this can really be answered without knowing what  your SKILL code is doing. Perhaps you need to use a progress box (e.g. hiDisplayProgressBox) which can be updated during a blocking function and give you the option to cancel the process you're running?

    Regards,

    Andrew.
