changing note/text colors

I would like to have a quick way of changing the color of note text and shapes.  Right now I am doing this by tying the function geQuerySelSet() to a bindkey and using it to change the layer of a note text/shape from the default text/drw to one of the annotate/drw layers, each of which is mapped to a different color in my display.drf file.

The problem is that the menu that pops up when I use geQuerySelSet() contains a very large number of layers, most of which appear to be layout-only layers.  This forces me to scroll through many other layers every time I bring up this menu just to find the annotate layers.  Is there a way to specify which layers appear on this menu, or alternately a way to change the layer (and therefore color) of a note/text and only have to choose from among the annotate layers?

    Hi,

    Why not just set the lpp directly through SKILL, without using a form? For example:
    geGetSelectedSet()~>lpp = list("annotate" "drawing")

    The above will set the Layer-Purpose pair to the new setting for one or more selected objects.

    Best regards,

    Lawrence.
