SKILL IDE - Tab setting

Hello,

Is there a way to to set an option in SKILL IDE where pressing TAB would indent  2 or 3 characters only, not a tab character.

Also, is there a way to re-indent my file loaded in IDE?  I've inherited some skill code and indentation is not done well and I like to re-indent files to make them more readable.

 Thank you.

The SKILL IDE in IC617 (under Options->Editor) has the Emulate Tabs check box which does what you want:

If you're asking (in your second question) about re-identing with some automatic style the whole code, then the answer is no. You'd have to go through and fix it yourself (could use pp(), but that doesn't do a terribly good job). I've written something in the past to do this, but that was focussed on doing this in LISP-style rather than C-style, so it's quite likely that this is not what you want (plus it removed all the comments by virtue of how it did it).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
