Opening existing layout from schematic in XL using SKILL language

Hi,

I have done the layout of a particular schematic and in my case schematic and layout are present in different library.

I need the solution for opening the existing layout from schematic using SKILL.

    Hi Srimant,

    Your question is quite vague. You can use Launch -> Layout XL (VLS-XL) from the schematic menu and choose "Use existing" and direct it to the correct layout. Now the layout has a connectivity source and references the schematic even if it comes from a different library or has a different cell name; if you open the layout in VLS-XL the schematic can open too.
    If this is not really what you are looking for then provide more details so that folks have a clue as to what you are doing and what you want (and which version you are using, plus any other important details).
