    Paul,

    Try this:

    /* abToggleSelectFilter.il

    Toggle the schematic selection filter settings.
    Call:

    abToggleSelectFilter("instance")
    abToggleSelectFilter("wire")
    abToggleSelectFilter("pin")

    etc.

    ***************************************************

    SCCS Info: @(#) abToggleSelectFilter.il 04/07/17.22:03:53 1.1

    */

    procedure(abToggleSelectFilter(option)
        let((current)
            current=schGetEnv("schematicSelectFilter")
            current=foreach(mapcan opt current
                if(opt=="allSchObj" then
                    list("label" "pin" "pinName" "marker" "noteShape" "noteText"
                        "flight" "wireName" "wire" "instance")
                else
                    list(opt)
                )
            )
            schSetEnv("schematicSelectFilter"
                if(member(option current) then
                    remove(option current)
                else
                    cons(option current)
                )
            )
        )
    )

    Regards,

    Andrew.
