Replace Library Names

archive
archive over 17 years ago

Hi,

I notice that when I streamout a GDS from Encounter and import this in ICFB, all standard cells are tied to one single library. I have to manually use the "search and replace" feature and change the library reference name for each cell instantiated in the layout.
A skill script to do the search and replace for the libname of standard cells or a pointer on how to go about this would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance for the help,
Arun

    Hi Tongju,

I use the exact same procedure to replace the library name. However, in my case I have multiple reference libraries. So its proving to be iterative and tedious sometimes. I will try the def option.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
