ddsCvtAMSTranslateLib is described in "Virtuoso AMS Environment User Guide" and available in cadence 6.1.6, but in 6.1.7 this function is absent.

What need use instead it?

    This was to create the CDF for the AMS cell-based netlister. You should be using the newer Unified Netlister in ADE (for AMS) which doesn't need AMS CDF. The older CBN (Cell-based netlister) is effectively in end-of-support mode and  you should migrate away from it. Especially for anything new...

    So that's why it's been removed.
