question about ddsCvtAMSTranslateLib

ddsCvtAMSTranslateLib is described in "Virtuoso AMS Environment User Guide" and available in cadence 6.1.6, but in 6.1.7 this function is absent.

What need use instead it?

  • This was to create the CDF for the AMS cell-based netlister. You should be using the newer Unified Netlister in ADE (for AMS) which doesn't need AMS CDF. The older CBN (Cell-based netlister) is effectively in end-of-support mode and  you should migrate away from it. Especially for anything new...

    So that's why it's been removed.
