VISIO to layout

Hi,

Is there any tool inside or outside Cadence virtuoso to import and export VISIO drawings?

VISIO has an option to export as SVG. Any help here?

I would like to convert VISIO drawings in to floorplan.

No. I would generally point people towards one of our partners, Artwork Conversion Software, but I don't see that they have anything that does this either.

    Andrew.

Any one with suggestions to work with XML formats in Skill.

Is Perl the best candidate for this?

What do you mean by "work with"? Read? Write?

There's no built-in XML support in SKILL (there are a few private APIs, but nothing public). That said, it's not terribly hard to write or read XML. You might want to take a look at this earlier post.

    Regards,

    Andrew
