Any command text command reference out there?

Basically I need to be able to search for a command if I just know a part of it, and I should get the right usage for it.

For example, I don't know the correct usage or the full name of the command that gives "overlaps" between two layers in a given BBOX ..

  • Use the UNIX command "cdsFinder" or type startFinder() in the CIW. This allows you to search the quick help overview which tells  you the function name, a one line description, and the arguments and return value. From IC617/ICADV123 onwards, there's also a "more info" button which takes  you to the full documentation for the function you've found in the finder.
