custom icon bitmap in gnome/kde taskbar?

Is there some way to define a custom bitmap for the Virtuoso windows in the gnome or kde taskbar, in particular in the layout and schematic icons. Default is that a layout window is identified by a tiny image of a hand from the upper right corner, and a schematic window by a hand from the upper left corner, as on the left in the attached image. Is there a way to replace the tiny images with a L for layout and S for schematic, and still retain the display of the cellname, "test" in this example, as on the right in the attached image?

    The way I'd do it is to create a bitmap file (e.g. a png file) with an "L" or an "S" in, and then use deRegUserTriggers to register a user post install trigger (the fourth argument) which then does something like this:

    hiSetWindowIcon(args->window hiLoadIconFile("schematic.png" 32 32))

    Regards,

    Andrew.
