How Ocean addWaveLabel waveIndex reset?

monglebest

I write an ocean script to run two simulations in one ocn file. But after I applied clearAll() to remove previous waveforms, the waveform curve waveindex is not reset to 1, but continue count up. As a result, I need to use 3 instead of 1 in addwaveLabel() command if I plot two waveform in previous plot.

How can I reset the waveIndex with any command? ClearAll() definitely not work in that way. The manual way to do it is to close the viva window, I also don't find an Ocean command to do it automatically.

I discussed this with R&D a long time ago (as part of CCR 538369 - just in case this comes up again so I don't have to search for it), and as far as I know the indices don't reset. You can instead use awvGetWaveNameList() to get the list of waveform names and indices for the window, which would enable you to find the right index again though - perhaps that's the way forward?

    Regards,

    Andrew.
