Export Plot to CSV using SKILL

Hello,

I came across a post from 5 years ago where a user wanted to export his ViVa plot into a table. The response was that a support ticket was open. Is there a public SKILL command to that?

Best regards,
Karam

    Hi Karam,

Your title doesn't match the question - which is it that you want? To export to CSV, or to send to a ViVA table? (if the latter, then there's no function to do that, other than awvTableSignals which sends to the old "Results Display Window").

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hello Andrew,

Sorry for the confusion. In the GUI I first send the plots to a table and then export the table as CSV, so I assumed it was the same. I would like to have the final result, which is CSV.

    Best regards,
    Karam

    Hi Karam,

    Thanks for the clarification.

There's awvSaveToCSV() , rdbWriteToFormat (if it's a raw signal from the database you wish to export), or the code in this post:       Re: skill func for exporting csv

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Thanks for the tip, Andrew. awvSaveToCSV() did the job. The only problem was that it pushes all corner information into the header. This makes the function slower and inefficient since it truncates the corner information anyway. If only there was an option to disable csv headers altogether Slight smile

    Best regards,
    Karam

    Hi Andrew,

    1. Is there a specific command that I could use in order to get all the waveforms from an ADE XL test instead of giving in manually a list of waveforms in the awvSaveToCSV() function?

    Thanks!

    Kind regards,

    Nicolas
