generating pc.db files in a scripted way

anyone know if there is a convenient scriptable way to generate all the pc.db files for a bunch of functional views in a library?  The UNL seems to want to generate these  if they don't exist but that is not so friendly for a library that is not supposed to be writable.

Thanks

    Dan,

I don't think UNL should need pc.db files - a major point of UNL was a "shadow free" (which meant no netlist.oa or pc.db) approach. The one piece that did need pc.db was the hierarchy editor, but nowadays these are created automatically in a local directory as needed, so that readonly libraries are supported. See pc.db Auto Support for Read-Only Libraries

If UNL is trying to write pc.db files into the library during netlisting or needs them to support netlisting, please contact customer support. Perhaps I'm missing something, but as far as I know they should not be necessary any more.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
