Ocean commands for Waveform comparison feature

Hi all,

I have seen the new capability of waveform comparison feature in Cadence Assembler. Its a good feature.

I need to use for the batch mode. Can some one share the ocean commands to get this waveform comparison feature.

Regards,

Sravanthi

    Inside of Assembler, try saving an ocean script to see what it produces.

    In the generated ocean, below is the only line related to waves is seen. Also don't have the info of the reference waveform from other sim which is used for comparison.

    ocnxlOutputSummary(?exprSummary t ?specSummary t ?detailed t ?wave t). Any other suggestions?

    There isn't currently an OCEAN function to define a waveform Spec - for example similar to ocnxlPutLessthanSpec and the other ocnxlPut.*Spec functions.

    With Assembler you can write a simpler script that doesn't need you to export to OCEAN - you can use:

    maeOpenSetup(lib cell view)
    maeRunSimulation()

    This uses the definition in the maestro view and runs that - there are controls to override what you run with other "mae" functions. Personally I think this is a better way rather than trying to keep an OCEAN XL script in sync with the ADE Assembler setup.

    If you really need the OCEAN function to declare a waveform spec, please contact customer support and we can file a CCR to request this be added. I thought there was one already but was unable to locate it with the quick search I did.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
