How to load in a Model Group file (.sdb) either in SKILL or with a .cdsinit command

I am starting to use Explorer and would like to perform the following.

Load in a previously created Model Groups file so that it is available in the simulation corners.

I have a .sdb file that I created by saving a previous corner setup. Now I'd like to automatically load it back in when I start up my Virtuoso Explorer session. I know that this information is saved as part of my maestro file but I'd like to use it as part of a new enviornment when a designers starts up a new project for example.

I've seen various commands like axlGetModelGroupName which allow me to created model groups once the file is loaded but nothing to actually load the file.

There is ocnxlModelGroup which does what I want but it only runs in Ocean and there doesn't seem to be a "axl" equivalent.

I've also seen some useful posts from Andrew Beckett like this one.

It's a start of what I need but I haven't found the commands for model groups.

Perhaps there is a way to load in a generic maestro view with the information already in place?

Can anyone give me any pointers?

Many thanks,

Matthew Cordrey-Gale

    Hi Matthew,

You can do this with: envSetVal( "adexl.gui" "defaultCorners" 'string "/path/to/the/sdb" )

    Regards,

    Andrew.
