Whar is rodUT and how can one really access ROD stretch handle information through SKILL?

I was initially confused by the question, but then I found the section in the Relative Object Design User Guide which mentions rodUT. I think it's there by mistake as a consequence of some internal development which was not exposed to SKILL - I've filed a CCR with R&D to check and I'm suggesting that the section is removed from the documentation as there doesn't appear to be any way to retrieve the object from SKILL.

To use ROD stretch handles, you simply need to call the function rodAssignHandleToParameter - which is documented.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Andrew,

I am looking for a way to retrieve the stretch handle information with the intent to exercise the handle programatically for verification purposes.

    Thank you.

    Best Regards,

    Amir

    Hi Amir,

Apologies for the delay in responding. I understand - I don't think there's a way to do that though. I suggest you contact customer support (if you've not done so already) as this seems a reasonable request. Unfortunately I've not had any response yet to my suggestion to clean up the documentation.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
