Hi

Can anybody help in creating a new PCELL by calling already exsiting PCELL and adding more parameters .

Also the new PCELL should show up all instantiated PCELL parameters and also new parameters

Regards

    Hi Vinutha,

This is a very open-ended question. Typically you'd do this by creating a hierarchical pcell and then repeating the pcell parameters on the parent pcell and passing them to the instance. A tool such as Cadence PCell Designer would make this very easy (and in fact offers another way of passing down the sub-edits without necessarily defining every single parameter on the instance), but even with a SKILL pcell, it's straightforward enough.

If that's unclear, I would suggest you contact customer support. I did see that you'd emailed me directly, but it would be best if  you contact customer support so that somebody in your region can work with you (unfortunately I don't have the bandwidth to cover support requests from direct emails from across the world - that's why we have customer support to ensure that we use our team to do this).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
