To know whether LEF Pins location moved or not

Hi,

In top level of layout LEF pins are there right. We already fixed those & I want to know whether each PIN is aligned correctly or not same as in previous LEF.

Can you tell me how to develop the program for this one

Thanks & Regards,

Bala

    Hi Bala

Do you mean that you would like to check the positions of macro pins in LEF file against the original layouts?

    Hi Bala

I think you can use the SKILL script in COS article 20470090. It compares the LEF pins against labels in labels in a gds file. You just need to export the layout as gds.

    Hi Bala

No, the program Virtuoso does not has such a built-in check. SKILL is the language of Virtuoso and can be easily used to implement many different kinds of check.
