How to link DOE to PCell

Hello,

I am trying to write some code to automate the input of a pCell. Eg. I have a pCell with multiple parameters and I want to change a few parameters multiple times and create multiple layouts with those parameters. I had experience doing this in my previous company where we use a customize platform to fed in the data. But, now I want to write the same in skill so that I can link data from excel to my pCell in such a way that it can generate the multiple cells based on the different values mentioned in the excel. Please share some idea how it can be done in an easy manner.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Kalyan161

    Do you mean the following?

    a. Export data in excel file in csv (common separated values) format

    b. Use "infile" SKILL cmd to read in the file

    c. Use dbCreateParamInst SKILL cmd to create and place the instances based on the csv data

    Best regards
    Quek
