How to generate input.scs from maestro view by SKILL backgroud?

Hi

I want to auto generate series input.scs netlists from series maestro views,  then use the netlists to do series EMIR analyses,

and all the actions above need to be done under batch mode (backgroud / -nogui way)

I found the nearest fit API is 'maeRunSimulation()' , it can generate input.scs I want but it has no 'without simulation' option

Is there some way/SkillAPI to generate input.scs without simualtion?

THX !

Not sure why you can't just run the EMIR simulations from the maeRunSimulation() calls?

As far as I know, there's no way to just generate the netlist(s). Part of the reason is that maeRunSimulation may run many simulations if you have corners or sweeps set up, so there is no single netlist. Often that netlist is generated as part of the step immediately before simulation, and ADE Explorer/Assembler itself doesn't have an option to just generate the netlists for each point but not run the simulation.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Andrew

The reason why I can't just run the EMIR simulations from the maeRunSimulation() calls is that there are two EDA tools refered, NOT all in virtuoso

    Current EMIR flow:

    1. Export input.scs from a maestro bench(virtuoso platform, using only one corner, mostly FF for worst case)

    2. Import the input.scs to relstudio(ansys platform) for EMIR analyse

They are step-by-step proceed in GUI mode which makes low efficient, so I try to do this in bash skill  Slight smile
