Is there a SKILL code to automatically add labels on wire/path/pathseg on VXL layout IC6.1.7 except for power lines and net###?

    Why do you need to add labels? In IC617 you can use Options->Net Name Display to dynamically show the names over the nets anyway...

    If you really need to create labels, you could use the Create->Label command, turn on "Auto" and then area select where you want to add the labels (having defined what layer they should be on). Or turn it to "Auto" and then pre-select the shapes on the wires you want and then run Create Label. Something like that... no real need for SKILL then.

    Yes you are correct I actually know how to use Options>Net Name Display but the senior engineers I am working with still prefers to use the old method of putting labels.
    I tried to share to them how to toggle this but they insist using label.
