How to resize a layout window and do zoom-to-fit through skill

Hi,

I need to resize an open layout window to a size, say 1400X1500 and display the  entire design in that window automatically.

I am using the code below, the resize works but the zoom to fit is not happening.

hiResizeWindow(hiGetCurrentWindow() list(0:0 1400:1050))
hiUpdate()
hiZoomAbsoluteScale(hiGetCurrentWindow() 0.9)
hiUpdate()

I have experimented in adding a sleep(3) after the hiResizeWindow function call above and it seems to work but fails intermittently. Is there way to cleanly do this without using sleep ?

Thanks,

Jameel

    Hi Jameel ,

    you can try to delay the beginning of the zoom fonction with the following syntax :

    hiResizeWindow(hiGetCurrentWindow() list(0:0 1400:1050))
    hiRegTimer(  "hiZoomAbsoluteScale(hiGetCurrentWindow() 0.9) hiRedraw() " 1 )

    Regards

    Franck.
