Command Append1() is not working in a for loop

Dear All,

I am trying to append the waveforms created by  drCreateWaveform() in a for loop.

My code looks like;-

A=list()

for( ITR  1  2

    ..................

      WAVE=drCreateWaveform(drCreateVec('double xList) drCreateVec('double yList))
      A=append1(A,WAVE)

)

But A is having only one element in the list after the end of the loop.

Can anybody please help me in this issue

    No, that works fine. Unless your code has something that resets A within the loop, there's no way this can be happening - so my guess is that you've not shown the complete code.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Just to illustrate, I did this:

    xList=list(1 2 3)
    yList=xList
    A=list()
    for( ITR 1 2
      WAVE=drCreateWaveform(drCreateVec('double xList) drCreateVec('double yList))
      A=append1(A,WAVE)
    )
    println(A)

    This prints:

    (srrWave:0x2edc2030 srrWave:0x2edc2040)

    Andrew.

    Thanks Andrew. I am checking my code carefully. Adding new commands is always tricky.

    if you are calling any custom procedures within that for loop, make sure you aren't missing a let() and accidentally overwriting your "A".
