Replacing some words in a netlist.spf in an automated way.

Dear All,

I need to replace some words in a netlist.spf. Basically I want to replace some net names having **.** with **_**.

Manually, doing this is very tedious and error prone.

Can it be it done using SKILL script in an automated way ?

Kind Regards,

That's probably something that perl is well suited for. Yes, you could write SKILL to do it, but writing a perl script (or even sed) would probably be my suggestion. I suspect it's almost a one-liner (but I wouldn't like to do it here without seeing the real input file). Plus there's loads of perl resources out there...

    Andrew.
