virtuoso EXL issues

Is there a way or what is the process of not using EXL and using L.

The current process forces the layout to open in EXL and only use EXL.

EXL is slowing the layout editing process significantly to the point of panning around a small layout is a headache.

All the options I can find are turned off, but it is still slow.

    Paul,

    You should contact customer support. There are some settings which control whether you're dealing with connectivity or not, but in general if the performance is problematic we need to check (are you using the latest hotfix of ICADVM18.1 too?). Anyway, the best solution here is to work with customer support.
