view() command and text file editing

Hello,

Is it possible to introduce modifications into a file through a view()-like interface, without using an external unix editor (edit)?

    Hi Aldo,

    Not really. The closest would be to create a form using hiCreateMLTextField. I wouldn't call that a full featured editor, but at least a way to get text entry.
