stretch rodCreatePath by fix length (pitch)

Good Day!

May i know if it is possible or if there is a SKILL function i can use so that the created rod Path is stretchable by pitch?

For example

  • if i stretch rod Path in X, length is always divisible for example 5um (pitch is 5um and length will always snap by 5)
  • if i chop rod Path the segments will be 2 paths with length divisible by 5um.

We already have it in a Pcell and I would like to explore if we can do this outside of Pcell.

Thanks,

Nald

    Hi Nald,

I may be wrong but as far as I know there is now way to achieve this other than by PCell stretch handles. Every rod shape has an underlying OA database object (path, rect or polygon) and you can only stretch these continously.
