LSW windows cannot edited like locked

Recently, when doing my layout, the LSW window often cannot be edited, no matter using mouse scrolling or keyboard, only reboot the CIW (IC614) can make it work.

Dose anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks.

Firstly, it makes no sense to be using IC614. That is very old (the final hot fix was more than 9 years ago) and any issue is very likely to have been resolved by now (for a start, the LSW was replaced by the layer palette). I don't know which IC614 sub-version you're using (since you didn't say) but there was an issue in very early versions (the base release) where using the lib/cell/view browser on the stream out form would cause the LSW to hang/freeze. This was fixed in a later hot fix (I think - I have IC6.1.4.500.13 installed locally still and that doesn't have the problem). If it's that, the workaround is not to use the "..." lib/cell/view browser on the stream form - but the better solution is to move to something more recent.

    Andrew.

Thank you very much! You remind me that the problem did happen after exporting the GDS files. Thanks again!
