VIVA Function for Getting X and Y axis Values of Viewable Area

Hi,

Is there an inverse function for awvZoomGraphXY?  I'm interested in extracting the X and Y axis values of a zoomed in waveform for a few quick "on-the-fly" calculations (i.e average, frequency, min, max, etc.).  The thought here is that I would clip the waveform based on the X-axis window and then plot or place a marker with the scalar of interest.  Thanks!

Regards,

kienhuy

    Hi kienhuy,

There's no public function to do this. However, one thing you can do is to use the calculator, and ensure that clip is checked, as well as wave:

Then click on the curve in the graph (where you've zoomed in) and it will automatically clip it to the region that it's zoomed in at.

There is an enhancement request in CCR 1551669, but it has not been implemented yet. If you wanted such a function to retrieve the current zoom limits then you should contact customer support and request that a duplicate of this CCR is filed on your behalf.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
