Hi, Cadence Family

I try to create solid path in symbol by dbCreateLine, dbConvertLineToPath, dbCreatPath but it dosen't work.

Do you have the function to create solid path like this?

Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Morrris

    Morris,

Whether a path is drawn as solid or not is not a function of the path itself; it's the display packet used on the layer-purpose pair. For example, in the symbol editor, if you use Create->Shape->Line and then on the Options Form (F3) you pick it to be "wide" then it actually draws a path on device/drawing1 whereas if you draw it as narrow, it creates a line on device/drawing. In most setups the packet associated with the device/drawing1 layer-purpose would be set to be a solid fill rather than outline. So you need to create the path with a layer-purpose pair that has a packet associated with it that is set to have a solid style.

    Regards,

    Andrew
