add customized button and field to ADE L analyses form

Hi,

I'm learning SKILL to create customized GUI. I want to add a customized radio button to ADE L -> Choose Analyses Form, and corresponding form fields, something like below picture. And later, I wish generated input netlist can include global parameters based on the GUI input of this new customized radio button session.

I can access the list of radio buttons by "hiGetCurrentForm()->asiiAnalysisRadioField->choices" but don't know how to append a new button to this list.

I also referred to http://support.cadence.com/wps/mypoc/cos?uri=deeplinkmin:ViewSolution;solutionNumber=20051692 but still have difficult to realize what I want.

thanks,

Meng

    Hi Meng,

This form is not intended to be customised by users - it is built automatically from registered analyses for the spectre integration, and so any attempt to modify the list of choices would almost certainly break the flow. You certainly can't just use "hi" functions to change the form. Whilst there are APIs to define analyses for a particular integration, that's normally done by the simulator vendor (in this case Cadence) so that it's under their control and won't clash with anything they do.

I would suggest that you approach the problem a different way, and add it in a different menu. It would be best to contact customer support to determine the best approach for what you're trying to achieve - maybe it can be done by some existing functionality anyway.

    Regards,

    Andrew
