rename bus/bundle net names

Hi,

I'm trying to rename a schematic database and I noticed renaming single net is easy. Busses/bundled nets are much more complicated.

For single nets , I'm currently using

foreach(fig oldnet~>figs
    when(fig~>objType=="label"
      fig~>theLabel= newname
        )

)

How can I modify it to handle bus/bundled nets because it seems I'm missing some more info.

NOTE: I have tried using dbMergeNet and it doesnt do the job correctly rather messes up connectivity.

Example : oldname = "r2<2:0>,out"

newname = "vdac_r2<2:0>,out"

Result of dbMergeNet(newNettId oldNetID)

Error: Pin "MINUS" on iterations I232<3>..I232<1> of instance "I232<3:0>": floating input/output.
Error: Pin "PLUS" on iterations I232<2>..I232<0> of instance "I232<3:0>": floating input/output.
Warning: Floating signal "r2<2>" at (-0.8750, -1.0000).
Warning: Floating signal "r2<1>" at (-0.8750, -1.0000).
Warning: Floating signal "r2<0>" at (-0.8750, -1.0000).
Warning: Floating signal "vdac_r2<2>" at (-0.8750, -0.3125).
Warning: Floating signal "vdac_r2<1>" at (-0.8750, -0.3125).
Warning: Floating signal "vdac_r2<0>" at (-0.8750, -0.3125).

I will appreciate if anyone has a better solution because dbMergeNet is not working.

Thanks

Genas
