Wrap instances with Fluid Guard Rings (FGR)

Hi All,

I am wondering if there is a way to automatically wrap a list of instances with a given FGR in SKILL ?

This can be done by hand (How to create Fluid Guard Rings around the MOS devices automatically with a bindkey)

I am already able to place FGRs in SKILL with a list of points thanks to this article SKILL: How to create/modify instance of Fluid Guard Ring (FGR)?

I believe the automated wrap handles properly the enclosures etc. when FGRs are well defined in the technology.

If there is a way to do this using a SKILL script using a list of transistors as arguments this could spare me some time Slight smile

Thanks

Aurel

    Hi Aurel,

I didn't find any code or any built-in function to do this. Probably a good question for customer support.

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your feedback, I'll check with support

I haven't precised it but in my case I am working with modgen / sandbox

I believe it doesn't change anything except some functions exist but they are meant for hand editing (mgFGREnterHandEdit, ...)

    Have a nice day,

    Aurel
