Problems creating trunks in modgen

Hi all!

I was learning how to do routing in modgen, and I think I've got the idea but something is not working.

First I wanted to create a trunk in the middle of a channel, between 2 transistors, but when I do so the trunk is placed somewhere else than where I drew the line and it always appears in the middle of a transistor like in this image:

And I would like something like this:

Can somebody tell me how can I do this please?
