Function - Toggle the fill for any layer on the fly

1. Get the current layer display packet and save it:
old = drGetPacket("display" "VTL_P_drawing")
("display" "VTL_P_drawing" "brick" "thickLine2" "blue"
"purpleB" "outlineStipple"
)

2. Set the layer packet to a new colors and fill:
drSetPacket( "display" "VTL_P_drawing" "stipple0" "solid" "pink" "pink" "outlineStipple")
t
3. Load the old layer display packet:
drSetPacket(old)
*Error* drSetPacket: too few arguments (at least 6 expected, 1 given) - (("display" "VTL_P_drawing" "brick" "thickLine2" "blue" ... ))

It looks like I need to somehow remove the list parenthesis from "old"
I hope I dont have to build a string of all the elements of the list using
pcExprToString(nthelem(E old))

as that seems a convoluted way to achieve that.

    apply('drSetPacket old)

    will do what you want. this will pass the list of arguments in the old variable to the function drSetPacket.
