creating ADE-L state file from Skill script simulation

Hi All,

I'm successfully running a simulation with a Skill script and on conclusion like to write an ADE-L state file.

However    asiSaveState( asiGetCurrentSession()  )   does not produce the desired state.

Instead  i get :  WARNING (ADE-5048): Specified session is not a valid ADE session.

The simulation nevertheless runs without any issue.  There is also no problem getting to the design variables with   asiGetDesignVarList( asiGetCurrentSession() )

or to create an oceanScript.

I cannot figure out why the Skill created simulation session is not a valid ADE session (i'm not using any OCNXL)  or what i need to do to despite produce the state file.

groet

Hans

    Hans,

This is not possible. You can only create an ADE L state from an interactive ADE session (because it's really done in the "sev" layer, not the "asi" layer). If you run in an OCEAN session that's just using the "asi" layer.

Also, ADE L is past end-of-sale and has very limited support (production-halting issues only). There is support with the newer ADE Explorer/Assembler tools for creating new maestro views and adding setup and then running simulations that way (using the "mae" (maestro) functionality.

    Regards,

    Andrew
