oceanXL script unable to run "actimes" simulations

Hello,

In my OceanXL script I would like to run noise analysis on some specific time points. Unfortunetly it looks that the tool is ignoring my actimes and acnames and is running only regular noise analysis.

My analysis declarations is as follow:
analysis( 'noise ?start "10" ?stop "10G" ?dec "20"
                 ?p "/eCsaOut" ?n "/vss"
                 ?oprobe "" ?iprobe "" )
analysis( 'tran ?stop 400u
                ?actimes list( "105u" ) ; 195u)
                ?acnames list( "noise" ) )

When i run sims using ocnxlRun() then only tran and regular noise simulations are performed.

Moreover, when i look into generated files, i discovered that problematic parameters was omitted in amsControlSpectre.scs file:
tran tran stop=0.0004 write="spectre.ic" writefinal="spectre.fc" \
annotate=status maxiters=5
finalTimeOP info what=oppoint where=rawfile
noise ( csaVerification.eCsaOut csaVerification.vss ) noise start=10 \
stop=10G dec=20 annotate=status

Finally when i ran the simulation using GUI - then everything works fine... Have you maybe any idea what could cause the problem that ocean script is not running the tran ac-noise sim?

Info:

  • IC version: (#)$CDS: virtuoso version 6.1.8-64b 11/10/2020 19:41 (cpgsrv13) $
  • SPECTRE: @(#)$CDS: spectre  version 19.1.0 64bit 12/11/2020 22:29 (csvcm36c-4) $
  • Simulator: AMS
  • Solver: Spectre
  • Script is running in oceanXL mode

Thanks,
Greg

    Greg,

    I just had a chance to play around with this. It seems to be a bug as far as I can see. What's odd is that it works fine with the same analysis function calls when using an OCEAN L script, just not with OCEAN XL.

    This needs further investigation and a change request filed to get it fixed. Please contact customer support (I've not seen any report of this issue).

    Regards,

    Andrew
