wvMap() and vecMap() missing documentation

In this solution and also some old threads here, the wfMap() and vecMap() functions are used.  I see that Virtuoso (IC618 at the moment) knows about these but I can't find them documented anywhere (cdsFinder, docs, even searching on the support web site).  Is that an oversight or are those private?  I do see famMap() documented and have used that many times myself.

    Hi Dan,

    They're private (probably not for any strong reason, since they've been around for many years) and I probably just overlooked that when writing that function. It's not that common to need them (this is the only function in over 25 years that I've used it) so the lack of documentation is probably not a big deal. If you really need them, contact customer support to ask that they be made public.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

    Thanks.  I do agree that unlike famMap() that I have used in many places, these two see less use.   I only see about 3 calls to each in all of my code.
