CIW File pick list extension possible?

Hi,

in the CIW I see under File the 10 most recent files I used so far. However, as many design projects are very complex, just having 10 files does not help me much, I need to extend the list e.g. to 20, but I found no cdsenv entry to do this.

What would also help is if I would see spectre states in this list. These files are not included here unfortunately. I could of course bring up the corresponding testbench schematic, but this leads to many more clicks.

Bye Stephan

    Stephan,

    envSetVal("ddserv" "fileHistoryLimit" 'int 20)

will increase the number of entries in the history to 20. ADE L state cellViews are not included in the list because they are not fully handled by the design editor. ADE L is obsolete anyway (it has been end-of-sale since the end of 2020) and you should use ADE Explorer instead; these will appear in the history.

    Regards,

    Andrew

Thanks, it works fine. I would never have found this specific cdsenv entry on my own.
