New strips for digital signals

dragank

Hi all.

I am using Virtuoso IC6.1.8-64b.500.10

I have to plot signal that I get from: analog2Digital(wavefrm "center" ?vCenter 0.9)

If I have this for three corners and I set "awvPlotWaveform" parameter ?stripNumber list(1) I expect three digitalized signals to appear on same strip (one for each corner).

What happens is that ViVA adds new strip for each converted signal.

I do not get what am I doing wrong.

Best regards,

Dragan

    Dragan,

You're using too old a version. Prior to IC6.1.8 ISR12, you couldn't have more than one digital signal per strip (either interactively or from a script). You're using IC6.1.8 ISR10. After that, you can successfully have multiple digital signals on the same strip. There were also quite a few other improvements in that version related to digital signals and bus handling - such as the ability to expand buses - see an example below (this was plotted in ISR12):

As you can see, all the digital signals are in the same strip in this example.
