Bus bit labels

Hi all.

I am using Virtuoso IC6.1.8-64b.500.17.

I am trying to plot digital bus in ViVA.

Here is a screenshot of code I am using:

"stripSignalsList" is a list of signal names as strings.

What I am getting is:

Is there a way to remove "_awvGetBusBits" that is added to labels ?

Best regards,

Dragan

    Hi Dragan,

No, there's no control over this. The actual signal being plotted is the bus, and it's a waveform with the y vector having a type of logicBus. When VIVA plots this, it (nowadays) gives the option of expanding it, and each bit of the bus ends up with an expression to allow that bit to be pulled out (so if sent to the calculator or ADE outputs, for example it could extract that just that bit). There is a request to get the function to be a public function (rather than beginning with an underscore), but the naming itself can't be controlled.
