SKILL IDE coloring on 'keyword'

Hi.

I was wondering if there is a way to add higher-level functions (db*, cdf*, cc*, pho*, etc) to the list of 'keywords' in the SKILL IDE.  Right now, it's just the very basic functions that can have their color controlled by 'keywords', everything else is 'foreground' (or string, number, or comment - but those work in the way that I'd expect).

Ideally I'd like everything in the API finder to be a 'keyword', but that might still miss some of the low level pho* functions which don't have documentation yet.

And a little picture - I use cadetBlue keywords, white foreground, green string, brown comments, cyan numbers.  I'd expect the dbCreate* commands to be cadetBlue.

And a related question - is there a way to save custom colors?  I wrote a little script to load them, but it seems like something I should be able to save to .cadence.  My script only works if the IDE is already open, so I need to manually run it every time I open the IDE in a new Cadence session.

Thanks!

    Hi Meghan,

There's some discussion on adjusting colors in this article: How to change the color settings in SKILL IDE Editing window. However, as that mentions, there's an enhancement for coloring functions with certain prefixes (for example) - it could also be anything in the finder (in my view). The CCR is 2146133. I suggest you contact customer support and request a duplicate is filed for your needs.

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

I don't know how that didn't come up in my search.

It's exactly what I'm looking for, thanks!
