Histograms on two strips description overlap

Hi all.

I am using virtuoso IC6.1.8-64b.500.17.

When i plot two histograms on two strips descriptions for these histograms are printed one over another (red rectangle marked with 1).

I moved them a little bit just to show, but originally plotted are one over another.

I may get request in near future to plot more strips, so is it possible to set description location or remove it from ViVA graph?

Best regards,

Dragan

Just in case someone needs it.

    It is "g_setAnnotation" argument:

Setting it to nil prevents printing mean and deviation printouts.

    Best regards,

    Dragan

    Sorry.

    My mistake.

It does not consider this argument.

    Best regards,

It would have helped to have seen you were generating these plots via a scrip - that wasn't clear.

It's not possible (in SKILL) as far as I can see to turn off the generation of these labels; it's controlled by an attribute on the waveform but you don't seem to be able to turn off that attribute from SKILL.

The good news is that in IC6.1.8-64b.500.21 the annotation labels have been improved; they are no longer just a text box but a specific object and they are combined together so they don't overlap:

You can do right mouse over the annotation and collapse it, and also choose to see the summary information in a separate window:

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Thank You Andrew.

I am leaving this function parameter as nil, so when Cadence gets upgrade it will not print them.

    Best regards,

    Dragan

    Dragan,

That won't help, because the default is nil anyway. That parameter controls whether the standard deviation lines are drawn, not whether the text is added - so it's not relevant here.
