select shape or mosaic

StanleyChiu

My company does not allow uploading pictures,so I use MS Paint to draw the layout sample

I want to implement this function,when i select a shape or mosaic's edge (the red line is being select)

it can be select

(PS:I'm not very good in English,so I hope my pictures can convey what I mean,If there are any questions, I will try to reply)

thanks!!

    OK, so you've presumably selected using partial selection (F4 toggles this). If you want to convert partial selections into full selections, you can do:

    foreach(obj geGetSelSet() geSelectFig(obj))

    geSelObjectsPartiallySelected also does the job and take in account selection granularity when objects are fully selected

    Cheers

    Thanks Aurélien!

    I knew there was a function to do this but was in an airport when I answered and hadn't the opportunity to check for the function name.

    Yes, using this function as a bindkey callback also has the nice perk of showing it directly in the menu

    (hiSetBindKey "Layout" "ctrl<key>s" "geSelObjectsPartiallySelected()")
