Resizing the Report field columns/Tree table columns in a Form

Hi All, 

Is there a way to Interactively resize the column widths in the report field/tree table field of a form. The cadence help documentation confirms that they can be dynamically changed but suggests no such example to do so. 

What would be the most cleanest way to achieve this task?

    Move your cursor over the vertical bar in the column header between two headings and the cursor will change to a double-headed arrow. You can then click and drag and resize. So you can easily resize the columns this way - you don't need to do anything special to allow them to be interactively resized (this is true for both report fields and tree tables).

    Hi Andrew, I appreciate the response. 

    I wanted to understand, how to implement such case in SKILL code where using the current size of the form, those column widths are updated? Is there some inbuilt function available which tracks down the form resize event, and can be employed to dynamically resize the width? 

    Or the column width values have to be fixed only in SKILL form. Any help is appreciated.

    OK, so you're not asking about interactive resizing but programmatic resizing. There's no API for that - my team has asked for that in Cadence Change Request (CCR) 1561998. If that's what you want, please contact customer support and request a duplicate (note that the CCR I mentioned is also requesting control over column order and visibility).
