How will i manage large number of instances in a schematic?

I have been given a model and to access the internal nets i need to use deepprobes. Now i want to access 1000 internal net using deepprobes but the problem is that when i place then on the top of schematic it makes it unmanageable.

I want to do something that it retains the original schematic add deepprobes to the schematic also but dosen't show up in schematic so that i can manage my design.

What should i do in this case?

thank you in advance Slight smile

I'm trying to figure out why you would need that number of deepprobes (as the original creator of the "deepprobe" component). The whole point of these is if you need to make an electrical connection to the lower level circuit from your simulation test bench - for example, to inject a signal. If you're just "accessing" internal nets (e.g. plotting the signals), then there's absolutely no need for deepprobes.

So what are you actually trying to do?

I am using deep probes to access internal nets to simulate parasitic behavior between top layer pin and the internal pin. so for that i need to connect all specific internal pins.

You could just include an external netlist with the out-of-module references instead - sometimes with this many to manage it might be easier to use a spectre netlist file instead. You can see the syntax by looking at the netlist you get from using a deepprobe - in essence you can use a hierarchical path (in Spectre syntax) as the connection to any device in the netlist.

This does seem a rather cumbersome way of adding parasitic behaviour to add lots of deepprobes!

I have created a script which automatically place parasites in the netlist and was able to simulate it successfully but that was netlist approach. I want to have it with GUI approach.
