Adjust location of drop down menus after changing vnc resolution

Hi, 

I have created a VNC with 3 different resolutions. So that I can switch from Single Monitor, or 2 monitors or laptop screen. 

If I launch virtuoso when in single monitor resolution, and then switch to 2 screen resolution. The drop down menus of windows on the right screen are floating at the right most edge of left screen. They are far away from the actual drop down location. 

Is there an environment setting or a skill code that I need to use when I switch from one VNC resolution to other, so dropdown menus will appear at the right place?

    Please can you share a screenshot of what you mean by "dropdown menus"? If you really mean menus, then this sounds rather odd and likely to be a bug in the window manager or VNC itself; it's not something that the application will have controls over and not something I've seen before - but maybe you are talking about something else than what I'm imagining?

    Please also state which IC sub-version you're using.

    Yes Andrew, the menus are showing up away from their actual location. Attached a snapshot for your reference. I have layout window on right screen, I clicked on Create menu, and it showed up at the edge of left screen. This is the same case with any menu of layout view on right screen. 

    Not just the menu, if I hover my mouse over any toolbar shortcuts like Align, Flip vertical/Horizontal, its purpose is being displayed on left screen only. 

    I'm using 6.1.8-64b and ICADVM20.1-64b. I'm having same issue with both IC versions. I've created vncserver xrandr command.

    I've never seen this behaviour at any time - it sounds like the X window session is not correctly honouring the request from the application. It's extremely unlikely to be something the application has any control over.

    Other systems I use on a regular basis which resize the X window desktop do not show this behaviour. All I can suggest is that you investigate using other approaches, and maybe it's an issue with the specific VNC server you're using?
