Delete shapes on layerA not enclosed by layerB

I need to remove all shapes on layerA that are not fully enclosed by layerB.

The dbLayerAndNot marks areas of shapes on layerA that are not enclosed but I'm not sure how to make use of that. And I do not want to delete just areas that are not enclosed. If any part of a shape on layerA is not enclosed I need to delete the entire shape.

BTW: all the original shapes on layerA are polygon types - no rectangles.

You could use dbLayerAndNot (or dbLayerInside) to find the regions, and then use that data (you might need to also use dbLayerTile to split into rectangular regions) with dbShapeQuery to find the overlapping shapes. Similarly you could use the abe layer functions to do the same (that will give you the tiled info directly and doesn't require any temporary shapes to be found).
