How to remove 'help' button or use this button in skill gui

Hello,

I made GUI form using hiCreateAppForm in Skill.

I set the 'Close' option in buttonLayout, but I don't want to show 'help' button.

Is there any way to disappear that 'help' button?

and also, If available, I want to use 'help' button.

If I click that help button, can I define some act such as showing some pop-up message.

Thank you.

    Hi Shane,

As far as I know there is no way to entirely suppress the help button.
You can however redefine the callback of the Help button (by default it brings up the Virtuoso Documentation Library) in terms of the ?help keyword argument of hiCreateAppForm(..). Please read the the cdnshelp documentation for more  details about this - it is well documented.

    Hi,

I often use the following hiCreateAppForm argument:

    ?buttonDisabled '(Help)

(note that you should have a look at hiCreateLayoutForm and hiCreateFormLayout functions that are easier to use)

Once your form is defined, you can use

    form->hiFormSym->hiHelpAction = '_my_form_help_callback

Where _my_form_help_callback is the name of the help callback function you want to use.

You can also use the form name directly instead of form->hiFormSym

    Hope this helps

    Aurel
