Floating number is 2.0 but when I do int of the value it become 1

IU got a value from an calculation as 2.0.

but when I do int(value)

The result is 1.

Please let me now which cmd we need to use to get 2.0 as 2

What calculation exactly is that? And what do you get when you:

(printf "%2.16f\n" value)
